Michael Brown is the author of the three Namaste Publishing Inc. books: The Presence Process, Alchemy of the Heart and Cat Tales for Mariette. They make up a trinity of his exploration into techniques for self-facilitating emotional awareness, integration and growth.

"The Presence Process" is a physically applicable procedure that offers an approach to navigating our emotional realm responsibly. It invites us to explore 'conscious emotional response' as a better way of living life. "Alchemy of the Heart" shares the perceptual insights from The Presence Process useful for inspiring our daily experience with responsive emotional behaviour. "Cat Tales for Mariette" is an intimate, semi-autobiographical completion to the physical and mental journey set up by the first two books.

Michael says, "The Presence Process is self-facilitation. Along with the three books and the website, all we have to work with is our life experience just as it is, and how we are being with our heart. Anyone who helps us with this intimate emotional relationship with ourselves reveals the exact place we will not grow. So there is no teacher. We are it. There is no Presence Process group anywhere that I have founded. We apply the procedure alone, three times is best, then we put the books away forever. Once we trust what an emotional response is, there is nothing more to think about; there is just a life to create, recreate and respond to."
